They have an average lifespan of 10 to 14 years, and generally weigh between 4 and 25 pounds. Maltipoos are very social and thrive in an environment with lots of companionship. They are also excellent for a variety of activities, from participating in agility events to learning tricks.
The Maltipoo coat is typically a combination of its two parent breeds the Maltese and the Poodle that can have several different looks and textures depending on the individual pup. In general, they often have soft and silky coats, but are sometimes called “fluffy” by people who own them. Maltipoos can come with a single or double layer of fur, and their natural sheen can make them low shedding and ideal for people who want a pet with minimal fur loss.
Feeding your Maltipoo a proper, balanced diet is essential to their health. Ideally, you should provide dog food specially designed for Maltipoos. This will ensure they get the right amount of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. It's also best to feed them two or three times daily (ideally in small amounts).
