They have an average lifespan of 10 to 14 years and, like their parents, they are highly active and require regular exercise. As a hybrid breed, they often have qualities of both a Pomeranian and a Husky, such as the temperament of a Husky and the size of a Pomeranian.
Pomskies, a designer hybrid breed created by crossing a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky, are considered to be low-shedding compared to many breeds of dogs. However, it is important to note that "non-shedding" can be a misleading term, as all dogs produce some dander and hair volume.
