Pomskies are an incredibly special breed! They're a designer hybrid of a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky, so they have an amazing blend of endearing traits from both breeds. They tend to be more courageous than their Pomeranian parent and also easier to handle, while still inheriting the intelligence of a Siberian Husky. Pomskies usually have an impressive double-coat that comes in many colors, but often features the Husky's signature speckles.
Pomskies tend to be lower-shedding than most other breeds, but they are not non-shedding. They are the result of crossing a Siberian Husky with a Pomeranian, two breeds with wildly different coat types, so the amount of shedding is variable between Pomskies. Generally, there will be some shedding, but Pomskies will not shed as heavily as a full-blooded Husky or Pomeranian. It's important to brush your Pomsky regularly and invest in a good vacuum cleaner to reduce the amount of shedding.
