Pomskies are a relatively new hybrid breed resulting from the pairing of a purebred Pomeranian and a purebred Siberian Husky. They are usually small dogs but can be on the larger end of the size spectrum depending on which parent breed they resemble more. Pomskies do require regular grooming and they benefit from a high quality diet to help keep them healthy. They are also an active breed, so providing plenty of exercise and mental stimulation is necessary to keep them content.
The Pomsky coat tends to have a thick, soft, and fluffy texture. It is often medium to long in length and comes in a variety of colors. They can come in shades ranging from cream to darker red to brown and black and sometimes even variations of those combinations. The texture of their coat is usually quite dense, but not as dense as some other types of fluffy dog breeds.
