Allergies affected by pets vary from person to person, and can manifest as rashes, sneezing, coughing or itchy eyes if your reaction is more severe.

Pomskies are hybrid dogs produced by crossed breeding between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian, making them a very small to medium sized breed on average. Although there can be slight size variations between different individuals, they generally measure from about 8 to 15 inches tall at the shoulder, and can have weights as low as 10 pounds. In terms of temperament, Pomskies have both the intelligence and friendliness of their parent breeds, along with the signature traits of each such as the Huskies strong guarding instinct and the Pomeranian's fluffy coat.
Yes, Pomskies generally enjoy swimming. Being descended from two breeds known for their love of water, the Siberian Husky and the Pomeranian, it is expected that a Pomsky will enjoy going for a dip in the pool or lake. With proper training and supervision, swimming can be great for physical and mental stimulation and will provide your pup with an enjoyable way to cool down from hot summer days. Additionally, swimming is a great way to help build muscle growth and tone as well as protecting their joints from stress.
Pomskies are typically friendly when it comes to other pets. Their hybrid temperament is usually a mix of both parent breeds the Pomeranian and the Siberian Husky. Generally, Pomskies enjoy the company of other four-legged friends, although some may become a bit possessive over their owners. For this reason, it's important to socialize and train your pup early to ensure that they develop healthy interactions with any possible furry companions.
The amount of minutes per day that you should dedicate to training your Pomsky will depend on their age and individual behavior. As a general guide, it is best to start small and plan anywhere from 10 minutes a day for younger puppies up to 30 minutes a day for fully grown dogs. Of course, as puppies learn quickly and become more obedient, the time dedicated to training can increase gradually, but even then, it is important to not overdo it.
