A Pomsky is a hybrid dog breed created by crossing a Pomeranian with a Siberian Husky. It is a designer breed that is relatively new, and due to its unique characteristics, it has gained quite a bit of popularity over the last few years. The Pomsky is known as an outgoing, friendly and loyal companion, and is usually active and energetic. In terms of appearance, it can inherit features from either the Pomeranian or the Husky, yet they usually have the pointed ears of the Husky and the fluffy and dense coat of the Pomeranian.
Although not all Pomskies are non-shedding, many dogs of this bred do not shed much, especially if they are well groomed. Pomskies are a hybrid dog breed consisting of a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky, which are both natural shedders. When these breeds are mixed, though, the result is often a pooch that sheds less due to the temperament of the Pomeranian, which helps reduce the shedding that's common amongst their ancestors.
