As a hybrid breed, they are considered a designer breed since they are created by crossing the Pomeranian and the Siberian Husky. Furthermore, Pomskies have those traits of both breeds that make them so attractive and special. Specifically, they are usually small-sized and energetic like the Pomeranian, but with the thick, double layer, luxurious coat of the Husky.
Pomskies are a hybrid breed, resulting from a cross between a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky. As such, their hypoallergenic status is dependent on the parent breeds. Siberian Huskies and Pomeranians are both bred to have minimal shedding, but that does not necessarily mean that a Pomsky will have the same trait.
