They are a cross between a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky, and bring together the best of those two breeds. Some fun facts about Pomskies are that they are typically very smart and easily trained; they have thick double coats that can handle much of our cold Northern climates; they are great with families and can do well with children as long as they are socialized early on, and; they are very active and love to play and run around.
Pomskies, a designer breed created from the Siberian Husky and Pomeranian, are not hypoallergenic. Although there is no guarantee that any breed is truly hypoallergenic, since allergens caused by the dogs can be transferred from the fur, or even when the animal licks its fur and dander enters the air, Pomskies run a higher risk of causing an allergic reaction than some other breeds.
