They are alert, outgoing, and have an entertainingly playful spirit, making them a great companion for all sorts of activities. Not only are they beautiful to look at, with their thick coats and fox-like faces, but they're also incredibly smart and can be easily trained. They're highly adaptable too, capable of living in any environment with little difficulty.
Pomskies, or the breed of cross between a Pomeranian and a Husky, typically have a double coat with an undercoat and topcoat of hair. As a result, they do not shed a significant amount of fur, however, they can lose some pieces of their coat while brushing or with environmental changes. That said, it is important to keep up a good grooming routine to manage the level of shedding that may occur. A weekly brush, occasional bath as needed, and frequent trimming of nails are all part of good Pomsky care and help to keep shedding to a minimum.
Feed your Pomsky a high-quality, species-appropriate food tailored to their specific age, size and activity level.
