They have lots of energy and thrive in an active environment, but at the same time they have loving, gentle personalities. Pomskies are also extremely intelligent, and they learn quickly, so they can be trained easily. They have thick coats, so they stay warm in a variety of temperatures, and their coats also come in a variety of colors. Plus, they can live for 12-15 years, so they are a long-term commitment.
Managing allergies with Pomskies can be done by ensuring that the dog is not exposed to any allergens. Vaccinating the pet, regularly brushing and/or bathing the pet to remove any allergens that may have come into contact with the coat, and creating a hypoallergenic environment for the animal are all great ways to help manage allergies.
