Pomskies are a hybrid breed of dog created by combining a Pomeranian with a Siberian Husky. They are a fairly new type of dog breed with the very first litter being bred in the early 2000s. These gorgeous dogs often resemble the Husky more, boasting a thick coat that can be in a variety of colors. They have the strength and size of a Husky, but usually only weigh between 10 and 30 pounds, with more size variability on the smaller end.
Pomskies are not considered hypoallergenic. This is because they are a hybrid breed, meaning that there is not enough scientific data to confirm if they carry an unacceptable amount of dander that would be considered to cause allergic reactions.
