Depending on the breeding and parentage, their appearance and size can vary, ranging from resembling a small husky to that of a fluffy Pomeranian. Pomskies inherited many of the traits from their distinctive ancestors; the workload ethic from their Husky ancestors, the agility and intelligence of a Pomeranian. They typically weigh about 15 to 30 pounds, and have a thick double coat, often of a predominantly cream or white color, sometimes having patches of brown.
Pomskies do not typically cause allergies in their owners as they are not considered to be a high allergen dog breed. That said, if you (or someone in your household) are predisposed to pet dander allergies, there are still precautions you can take to ensure you remain comfortable when owning a Pomsky.
