The breed consists of Standard, Miniature, and Toy varieties, and all share an impressive intelligence, loyalty, and the classic curly coat for which they are known. Representing the second oldest breed in existence, Poodles thrive on companionship, attention, and activity, making them an ideal family pet for very active households. While the breed is recognized for its intelligence and remarkable aptitude for performance activities, they are also highly prized as watchdogs due to their protective and typical alert nature.
Managing allergies with Poodles is possible, but it does require some knowledge and understanding.
