This gives them their signature look of a lion-like mane around their face and head. They are also quite intelligent, in fact they are often ranked among the top breeds for intelligence. They are incredibly easy to train, which is part of why they are so popular as family pets. Additionally, they are also a very active breed of dog that loves exercise, walks, and playtime.
