Poodles are an incredibly smart breed of dog that originated in Germany. They come in three sizes: toy, miniature, and standard. Many owners are surprised to learn that Poodles have been trained to do a variety of tasks, from circus performers to sniffing out drugs as police dogs. While they are well-known for their hypoallergenic coats, they actually have the same amount of fur as any other breed of dog it's just a different texture. Poodles are also well-known for their incredible swimming ability, and some can even leap higher than humans!
Managing allergies with Poodles is possible with the right tools and techniques. The key to minimizing allergy reactions is to reduce exposure to the allergens that trigger your allergies. Regular grooming involves brushing, trims, and bathing to help reduce the amount of dander and allergens that can irritate your eyes, nose, or skin. Vacuum cleaners with advanced filtration and air purification systems are especially helpful in reducing the number of allergens in the home, as are dehumidifiers.
