Poodles are a unique breed of dog known for their intelligence and friendly dispositions. They come in three sizes: Toy, Miniature, and Standard. All three varieties have a thick, curly coat with spots or patches of color on their face, ears, legs, and torso. They are active, loyal, and highly trainable. They enjoy affection, playing, and daily walks. They are very clean animals and don't require a lot of grooming or bathing. Poodles do not shed, which makes them a great breed for people with allergies.
While it is possible to have an allergic reaction to any breed of dog, the fact is that Poodles are a hypoallergenic breed, which means that certain breeds, like Poodles, tend to produce less of the proteins in their skin and saliva responsible for inciting allergies.
