While often perceived as prissy, Poodles have an athletic flair and make devoted companions for active families. Highly trainable, Poodles are actually quite intelligent and make obedient pets if you commit to training and socializing your pup with people, places, and other pets.
The Poodle's coat is a unique combination of curly and wiry. It is a light-shedding breed that requires regular grooming and maintenance. One of the most distinguishing features of the Poodle breed is their wiry coat, which has a minimal undercoat and tightly curled topcoat.
