They belong to the Non-Sporting Group of dogs according to the American Kennel Club (AKC), and are one of the oldest standardized breeds of any dog breed in the world. Poodles are very active, loyal, and highly trainable dogs that bond deeply with their owners and never fail to make people smile. They come in a variety of sizes, including standard, miniature, and toy, and their coats can come in an array of different colors.
Poodles do not typically cause people to experience allergies, although they do have the same type of fur as many breeds that are known for triggering allergies in some individuals.
