This designer breed was developed in North America and combines the intelligence, trainability, and loyalty of the Australian Shepherd with the low shedding and intelligence of the Poodle. This combination of traits makes them ideal for many lifestyles. Aussiedoodles tend to be energetic, loving, and great with children. They are intelligent and usually eager to please, making them easy to train.
Aussiedoodle coats are incredibly soft and plush. They have a unique texture, combining the characteristics of an Aussie's dense, wavy fur with the Poodle's silky locks; this creates an especially soft and inviting look.
