An Aussiedoodle is a hybrid breed of dog that is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle. It is a medium-sized dog with the energy and intelligence of both an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle. The coat of an Aussiedoodle can vary from a soft, wavy coat all the way to a thick, wiry coat, depending on the parents from which it is bred. Typical colors are brown and black with white markings, though other color combinations can occur.
Aussiedoodles are considered hypoallergenic due to the cross breeding of a Poodle and an Australian Shepherd. Poodles are inherently hypoallergenic since their coats do not shed. For this reason, many people consider Aussiedoodles to be a hypoallergenic breed of dog.
