Bernedoodles are an increasingly popular hybrid breed of dog that have become all the rage in the last few years. They are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, typically a Standard or Miniature. They are a wonderful combination that combines the intelligence and non-shedding coat of the Poodle with the loyal, gentle, and easygoing nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog.
While Bernedoodles are generally hypoallergenic and unlikely to cause allergies, it really depends on the individual. If you or members of your family are known to suffer from allergies, there is always a chance that you may have a reaction to Bernedoodles as with any pet. If this is a concern, it is important to speak to your allergy specialist before committing to owning a Bernedoodle.
