Physically, Bernedoodles have the beautiful, thick, wavy fur of a Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle's slightly slimmer build.
The Bernedoodle coat varies depending on the crossbreed used for the original Bernedoodle. Generally, these dogs have a silky, long coat. However, because of its poodle lineage, different crosses can produce a soft, wiry, curly, or wavy coat. Depending on the season, their coat can either be straight or wavy. Depending on the dog, some may require less grooming while others may require more. Generally, Bernedoodles have minimal shedding and come in a range of colors, including black, white, tan, and brown.
Bernedoodles typically have similar dietary needs to other breeds of the same size and activity level.
