Bernedoodles are a hybrid breed of dog, created by crossing Bernese Mountain Dogs with Poodles. They are known for being highly intelligent, friendly, and loving pets that are great for families with children. Bernedoodles can range from miniature to standard sizes, with coat colors of black, white, or a combination of both. Bernedoodles are also highly energetic and require regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. In addition, depending on their coat type, they may require regular grooming. When well-socialized, these dogs can get along with other animals.
The Bernedoodle coat is quite unique and wonderful to behold. It's usually a combination of its parent breeds' coats, a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle fur. Typically, the Bernedoodle coat is composed of wavy, dense, and shaggy hair, much like the average Poodle. It tends to be a bit thicker and waterproof due to the Bernese Mountain Dog in its lineage.
