Bernedoodles are an incredibly unique and interesting combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle! They make excellent family dogs, due to their even temperaments and loyalty. But the most interesting thing about Bernedoodles is that they don't moult and as a result, they don't cause any problems for people with allergies. What's more, depending on the type of Bernedoodle you have, you can enjoy low-shedding or even hypoallergenic fur.
The Bernedoodle coat is a beautiful combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle coat textures. The coat can vary in length depending on the type of Bernedoodle--Standard, Miniature, or Toy--but is usually a thicker and curlier style. It is often a tricolor coat, with traditional Bernese coloring and can come in shades of black, white, brown, yellows, creams, and other colors. The Bernedoodle's coat is highly hypoallergenic and generally only needs to be brushed once a week and bathed when needed.
Bernedoodles are generally quite healthy dogs that do not have any unique dietary needs. However, like any breed of dog, they do benefit from a healthy and balanced diet. Owners should feed their Bernedoodle a high-quality diet that is appropriate for their age and size. Depending on your Bernedoodle's age, size, and health, it is best to walk your pup for at least 30 minutes and up to two hours every day. Avoid walking your pup for too long, as it can be hard for Bernedoodles to stay focused and motivated after they have reached their daily goal.
