With their beautiful coat and loving, loyal temperament, Bernedoodles make wonderful companions and bring joy to their owners. Not only do they love to cuddle, but they are also quite intelligent, making them extremely easy to train. Bernedoodles are also hypoallergenic, which is a bonus for those who suffer from allergies.
Managing allergies with Bernedoodles depends on the individual's allergens and the Bernedoodle’s coat type. If the individual is allergic to the fluffy undercoat, a Bernedoodle with a wavy or a curly coat may be best as it is more likely to reduce the amount of allergens. Grooming must be frequent, particularly during shedding season, to reduce the amount of shedding. Regular brushing can help to reduce dander and allergy-inducing proteins.
