They were so beloved by royalty that the breed remains forever intertwined with British culture. They’re also known for being right on the cusp of being a lap dog—they’re small enough to curl up in laps, but they’re sturdier than a lapdog, making them perfect cuddle buddies.
The Cavalier King Charles has a silky, medium-length coat that is generally straight and silky to the touch.
