Havaneses are a small, intelligent breed of dog with a luxurious and curly coat that requires daily grooming. They generally possess a happy and cheerful attitude, are highly trainable and make amazing companions. They have long been sought after for their loyalty, intelligence, and affectionate disposition. In terms of temperament, they tend to be sociable and easy-going—perfect for families with young children. However, they can become frustrated if not properly exercised and mentally stimulated.
