Part of the Bichon family of small dogs, which includes Bolognese, Maltese, and Bichon Frise, Havaneses are known for their happy-go-lucky, sociable personalities. They are natural born cuddlers and love snuggling with their humans.
The Havanese coat is known for being beautiful and soft a unique combination of luscious curls and smooth locks! Their coat is long and flowing with short curls all over their bodies. It can come in any color, but the most popular shades are silver, chocolate, white, honey, cream, and black. The coat doesn't shed as it doesn't contain an abundance of undercoat.
