Their unique coat is soft and thick, featuring long, wooly hair which should be trimmed and groomed monthly.
Generally, Havaneses can be considered hypoallergenic. This is because they are a non-shedding breed of dogs, meaning they have less fur and dander than most other dogs, and as a result trigger fewer allergies in people.
