Labs require regular exercise and need to be taken on long walks, runs, and hikes. Labs are also known to be strong swimmers, so access to a river, lake, or pool is ideal. They thrive in an environment with plenty of space to run around and play. Training must begin at an early age and should include basic commands and proper socialization around other animals.
