Despite any moderate amount of shedding, Labradors are known to be a low-maintenance dog when it comes to grooming, which helps keep the shedding amount manageable. Regular brushing with the appropriate tools will help distribute the oils evenly and minimize shedding.
Feeding your Labrador Retriever a healthy, nutritious diet is essential for their well-being. A complete and balanced diet should contain proteins, carbohydrates, and fat, and can be obtained through a combination of both wet and dry food. Dry food should have an AAFCO approved label to ensure the food meets specific requirements for meeting the dog’s nutritional needs. Wet food additional can provide more proteins and moisture to the diet.
