Not only are they smart, friendly, and even-tempered, but they are also full of energy, making them perfect for an active lifestyle. Some other fun facts about Labradors include that they originally descended from the Newfoundland breed, they come in black, yellow, and chocolate colored fur, they are capable of swimming long distances, and their life span is up to 12 years!
