A Maltipoo is a designer dog breed that's a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle. These intelligent and affectionate pets can make great companions for families. Maltipoos typically combine the intelligence of a Poodle with the calmer temperament of a Maltese. They also have fluffy, soft coats that don't shed very much, making them great for people with allergies. The size of a Maltipoo will depend on the size of the parents, with Miniature Poodle and Teacup Maltese parents resulting in smaller Maltaipoos.
Maltipoos are a designer dog breed that is a combination of the Maltese and Toy or Miniature Poodle breeds, and they are considered to be a low-shedding mixed breed. They have a low-shedding coat that is soft and dense, falling in wavy curls or waves. With that said, there could still a slight amount of shedding, but the amount is significantly less than regular breeds and generally only requires occasional brushing.
Feeding your Maltipoo should be tailored to its individual health needs. Generally, high-quality dry food formulated for small and/or toy breeds should be a mainstay of its diet.
