Pomskies are the result of hybridizing between a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky—which make for an unforgettable and captivating breed. These dogs are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and sensitive nature; in addition, they may have extreme alertness and an abundance of energy. They also boast beautiful coats of fur, with a spectrum of colors ranging from black and white to white, and sometimes they may even have blue eyes.
Pomskies generally do not shed much, however they can be considered low to moderate shedders. They have a hypoallergenic, double-coat that produces less shedding than other breeds. Grooming needs to be a regular part of a Pomsky's routine, as brushing and regular bath helps to keep shedding at a minimum. It's important to keep their fur away from high levels of humidity, as it can cause even more shedding.
