Poodles are strictly an English dog breed first bred in Germany. They come in three sizes Standard, Miniature, and Toy and are celebrated for their intelligence. They have a hypoallergenic coat that is wiry and curly, meaning their fur does not shed as much as other breeds. Furthermore, it's said that at least 90% of the modern poodle's genome is a product of Ancient European breeds like the Barbet and French Spaniel.
