They are also the only breed of dog that is recognized by the American Kennel Club for two coat styles curly and Corded which is unusual among breeds. In addition, Poodles are exceptionally intelligent and loyal companions, making them highly trainable and easy to bond with. Poodles are widely considered to be hypoallergenic due to their low-shedding coats. While many breeds can cause mild allergic reactions, the Poodle's lack of shedding means they produce fewer allergens than other breeds.
