They tend to have curly coats that vary from wavy to curly, and can be any color from black to dark brown and even white. They are usually very friendly and love to be around people.

However, since some Bernedoodles are not considered hypoallergenic, it may be best to consult an allergist to determine whether specific Bernedoodles will cause an allergic reaction. The Bernedoodles that have been crossbred with a poodle tend to produce fewer allergens and are considered more hypoallergenic than other Bernedoodles that are not crossbred with the poodle.
