Maltipoos are a hybrid breed between a Maltese and a Poodle. As a result, they are not officially recognized as a specific breed and do not qualify for breed specific club recognition. Maltipoos can range from 4-15 lbs and heights from 8-19 inches, depending on the size and type of Poodle used to produce them. They are often quite active, love to cuddle, and can be very affectionate with their owners. It's not uncommon for them to bond closely with their family and display loyalty and intelligence.
Maltipoos, which are a mixed breed of Maltese and Poodle, can be hypoallergenic, meaning that some people who are otherwise sensitive to animals may not have an allergic reaction. Hypoallergenic does not necessarily mean that a Maltipoo will not be capable of producing an allergic reaction.
