Labradoodles are an incredibly popular breed of dog because of their playful nature, intelligence, and loyalty. One fun fact about Labradoodles is that they are a hybrid designer breed, created by crossing Labradors and Poodles as a hypoallergenic alternative to the Labrador Retriever. Another fun fact is that the Australian couple that originated the breed in the 1980's even employed a labradoodle as a safety inspector in their veterinary clinic. They are also known for being highly people-oriented, and they often make great service and therapy dogs.
Labradoodles typically have coats that are either curly or wavy the coat of a Labradoodle is typically a combination of its Poodle and Labrador Retriever parent breeds. The coat may be short to long, but is most often kept medium in length. When Labradoodles are young, their coats tend to be more like that of Labrador Retrievers, but as Labradoodles age, their coats tend to have more of a Poodle-like look.
Labradoodles should not be fed any type of chocolate, as this can be toxic to them in large amounts. Additionally, they should avoid processed foods, as well as foods that are high in fat, as they may lead to obesity. Grapes and raisins can also be toxic, and some dogs can be allergic to certain nuts, so it's best to stay away from any nut-based products. Lastly, cooked bones are not recommended, as they can splinter and cause internal injuries.

Then, you'll need to puppy-proof by making sure all household cleaners, medicines, and other toxic substances are locked away securely.
Labradoodle puppies can come in a variety of sizes, depending on the genetics of the Labradoodle's parents. As such, there's no definitive answer to the question of your puppy's size. Generally speaking, however, Labradoodle puppies range from about four pounds to over 100 pounds depending on their parents. While this range is broad, breeders can generally give a more accurate prediction about a puppy's adult size based on its parents' size.
