Labradoodles, a hybrid of Labrador Retrievers and Poodles, are a popular breed of dog these days. What makes them so interesting is that they create a combination of hypoallergenic qualities of a Poodle with the personality of a Labrador Retriever. As a result, Labradoodles not only have the typical intelligence and sweet demeanors of a Labrador Retriever but they also have the hypoallergenic benefits of a Poodle and low-shedding coats.
The Labradoodle is a unique mix of Labrador Retriever and Poodle, resulting in a luxurious coat. Depending on the generation of the Labradoodle you own, the coat can range from a short, slightly wavy, soft coat to a full and curly medium-length double coat that can range from wavy to a tousled, spiraled look. Labradoodles come in all ranges of colors, from black, cream, brown, to multicolored.
Labradoodles should not be fed foods that are high in fat or sugar, such as bacon, candy, chips, or greasy foods like french fries. Human food should also be avoided, as it can be rich in sodium, which is detrimental to your Labradoodle's health. Additionally, food with a lot of preservatives and artificial flavorings should be avoided. Avoid giving bones, as they can splinter and cause damage to your Labradoodle's digestive system. Alcohol and caffeine should also be avoided, as they are not necessary and can have some serious health risks.
