A Labradoodle is a hybrid dog that is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. This designer breed of dog was originally created in Australia in the 1980s with a goal to make an intelligent, hypoallergenic, low-shedding service/guide dog. Labradoodles come in a wide variety of sizes, coat colors, and textures. They have a warm, loyal, and friendly temperament, and generally get along well with children and other pets.
Labradoodles are considered to be a low to non-shedding breed of dog. They are great for people who suffer from allergies as they have a mixture of fur and hypoallergenic characteristics.
