Labradoodles are a unique breed of dog that is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. They have been gaining in popularity in the US for their intelligence, playful nature, and easy-going disposition; but, what makes them truly unique is their combination of different traits from both their parents. Labradoodles are a hybrid breed of dog resulting from a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. The coat of a Labradoodle can range from almost straight and wiry to loose and curly. Their coat varies depending on the types of parents used those with a Labrador Retriever parent tend to have a longer, wavier hair while those with a Poodle parent tend to have a tighter, curlier coat. Generally, Labradoodles have a soft, low-shedding coat that requires regular brushing to keep it free of mats and tangles.
