Perhaps most intriguing is the fact that Labradoodles can have a variety of coat textures and colors, making no two Labradoodles exactly alike. Labradoodles are also very active and social; they usually get along well with both children and adults, as well as other pets. Their intelligence also makes them wonderful companions; they're eager to please and can often be easily trained to perform different tasks.
Labradoodles are a hybrid breed of dog, and could potentially cause allergies depending on the individual and their sensitivity levels. There is no guarantee that Labradoodles won't cause any allergy symptoms, but because they are a hybrid breed, they typically shed less than other breeds and thus might create less of an allergic reaction. If you are prone to allergies, it is suggested to spend some time around the breed before committing to bring one into your home. While some Labradoodles may trigger an allergic reaction, others may not.
Labradoodles should not be fed chocolate, grapes, or products containing xylitol as these can be toxic. Hard or sharp items like bones, rawhide, or popcorn kernels can pose a choking or intestinal blockage risk and should be avoided. Additionally, it is best to provide appropriate foods designed for dogs, such as kibble or canned food. Labradoodles can benefit from some fruits and veggies, but stay away from foods high in salt or sugar.

The weight of your Labradoodle will range from 10 to 60 pounds. Labradoodles are an active breed, so to keep your pup healthy and in shape, exercise is necessary. Depending on the age of your companion, an adult Labradoodle will need approximately two hours of exercise a day, with approximately one hour of vigorous activity. Younger dogs may need up to three hours of exercise a day to expend energy and stay fit. Exercise can come in the form of regular walks, runs, hikes, games of fetch, jogging, or swimming.
