Labradoodles are a designer cross breed dog developed as a companion animal. They are a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a (Miniature) Poodle. Labradoodles are intelligent, gentle, and loving animals that have become popular in recent years due to their generally hypo-allergenic and non-shedding coats. These dogs come in a variety of colors and sizes, including standard, medium, and miniature. Whether long and fluffy or sleek and smooth, Labradoodles are generally easy to groom, making them a preferred breed among pet owners.
Labradoodle coats can vary in thickness, texture, and color. The length and texture of the coat may range from soft and straight, to heavy and wavy. Generally, they will have a medium-length, thick, hypoallergenic coat that provides a pleasant amount of coverage. Labradoodles range from light-colored tans, to deep chocolate shades. Labradoodles are an active breed and they need a diet that is high in protein and healthy fats.
