Labradoodles have a low to non-shedding coat depending on the genetics of the parent breeds. These crossbreeds can inherit the coat of a Labrador Retriever, which does shed, or the coat of a Poodle, which does not. Generally, Labradoodles with a wavy to curly coat tend to have lower shedding tendencies; straight-coated Labradoodles may not be as non-shedding.
