Labradoodles are an incredibly unique and interesting breed of dog that combine the intelligence and friendliness of the Labrador Retriever with the hypoallergenic qualities of the Poodle. They boast a variety of traits that make them particularly special, such as their intelligence, their hypoallergenic fur, and their friendly and outgoing personalities. Additionally, Labradoodles come in a range of sizes and coat types, meaning there is a Labradoodle to suit every individual. Labradoodles have coats of various textures and colors, depending primarily on the type of Poodle they were crossed with. Generally, Labradoodle coats are wavy and soft, and can come in blondes, reds, grays, whites, browns, black, apricot, and more. Labradoodles are interesting and fun loving dogs that require a balanced and healthy diet to stay healthy. Owners should not feed Labradoodles anything that contains chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, macadamia nuts, grapes, avocados, moldy or spoiled food, raw meat or eggs, onions, garlic or chives. Labradoodles come in three basic sizes Standard, Medium, and Miniature varying in height and weight. The Standard size is usually 22 to 24 inches tall and weighs 50 to 65 pounds. The Medium size is a slightly smaller version, about 18 to 22 inches tall and 40 to 50 pounds. The smallest size, the Miniature, stands at 14 to 16 inches high and weighs 15 to 25 pounds.
