As its name implies, Labradoodles are a combination of two breeds: Labrador Retrievers and Poodles. This mix of breeds creates a unique dog with some of the best qualities of both breeds, like a friendly and intelligent nature, an easy-care coat, and a low-shedding quality that many dog owners seek.
It is not typical for Labradoodles to cause allergies, however, they are considered a hybrid breed and any hybrid has some risk of causing allergic reactions. If you do have allergies, it would be wise to spend some time with Labradoodles before committing to one to make sure that no reaction occurs.
