A Labradoodle is an intelligent, friendly, and loving breed of designer dog. It is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle and is known for being low to non-shedding. These pooches come in many sizes and shapes, and they can either have a curly coat like a poodle or a straight coat like a lab. Labradoodles are incredibly smart, so they excel in agility courses, obedience, and trick training. They are also eager to please, making them easy to train.

The Labradoodle was bred from retrievers, which are known for their swimming capabilities, and this breed typically has a strong pedigree for swimming. With proper conditioning, it isn't at all uncommon for Labradoodles to take to the water exceptionally well, and for them to keep going for surprisingly long periods of time.
Labradoodles are generally known to be good-natured and social dogs, and most do get along with other pets, both small and large. If their owners provide them with early socialization and exposure to different animals and breeds, Labradoodles are likely to enjoy playing and interacting with their furry friends.
