Labradoodles make an incredibly interesting breed of dog not only do they have the intelligence of a Poodle combined with the athletic ability of a Labrador, but they are also incredibly loyal and friendly, making them great family pets. In addition, they are highly trainable and thrive when given tasks, which makes them a great choice for those looking for an active, obedient dog.
Labradoodles are a cross breed of Labrador Retriever and Poodle, so their shedding traits are not set in stone. While some Labradoodles may shed minimally or not at all, there are always individual variations. In some cases, the coat of a Labradoodle may be similar to a Labrador Retriever while others may have a coat that takes after a Poodle's curls and will not shed much or at all.
Labradoodles have specific nutritional needs to maintain their health and should not be given “people food” as treats. Daily walks, playtime, and activities to stimulate their minds are important.
