Labradoodles are a crossbreed between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. They can belong to either the sporting, working, or non-sporting group depending on the precise mix of breeds. Labradoodles have become increasingly popular as a companion dog in recent years due to their friendly and outgoing personalities, as well as their low-maintenance grooming needs. They are incredibly intelligent dogs, and are well-suited to activities such as agility, obedience, and conformation.
Labradoodles are in fact a breed of hypoallergenic and low-shedding dog. They are a mix of the Labrador retriever and the poodle. Breeders have developed Labradoodle puppies that possess the intelligence and loyalty of the Lab with the hypoallergenic and low-shedding qualities of the Standard, Mini, or Toy Poodle. As far as shedding is concerned, Labradoodles can be non-shedding and hypoallergenic.

Additionally, feeding Labradoodles table scraps on a regular basis is not recommended as it can cause an upset stomach or even malnutrition. A diet of healthy, commercially available dog food should be the main sustenance for Labradoodles.
Before getting a Labradoodle, it is necessary to purchase essential supplies such as a crate or carrier, food and water bowls, a harness and leash, interactive toys, grooming supplies, and appropriate bedding. Additionally, chew toys and treats are also essential for a Labradoodle. Labradoodles come in a range of sizes depending on the crossbreed between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. The most common sizes you can expect to find are Standard, Medium, Miniature, and Toy. Standard Labradoodles reach height ranges of 22-24 inches and can weigh 45-75 lbs. Medium Labradoodles are usually 18-21 inches tall and weigh 25-45 lbs.
